Key Responsibilities: - Reporting to the chairman of Audit Committee, Chief Internal Auditor is accountable for effective implementation of a network of Governance, Risk Management and Control processes by providing a systematic & disciplined approach of internal auditing. Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Develop a flexible Annual Audit Plan using an appropriate risk-based methodology, including any risks or control concerns identified by management, and submit that plan to the audit committee for review and approval as well as periodic updates. - Implement the Annual Audit Plan, as approved, including, as appropriate, any special tasks or projects requested by management and the Audit Committee. - Build and manage a professional audit team with sufficient knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant educational / professional certifications to meet the requirements. - Issue periodic reports to the Audit Committee and management summarizing results of audit activities. - Keep the Audit Committee informed of emerging trends and successful practices in Internal Auditing. - Assist in the investigation of significant suspected fraudulent activities within the organization and notify management and the Audit Committee of the results. - From time-to-time Internal Audit may perform ad-hoc consulting services, beyond assurance services, to assist management in meeting its objectives. Candidate Profile: - Qualified Chartered Accountant with a proven experience of leading a medium size Audit team. - Overall experience of 12 to 15 years, preferably in Poultry/Agri sector. - Well versed with The Institute of Internal Auditors' mandatory guidance including the Definition of Internal Auditing, the Code of Ethics, and the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards).
