
Key Roles - Responsibilities: Chief Information Officer
- IT Strategy - Leadership: Develop and execute the organisation's IT strategy aligned with overall business and educational objectives.
- Technology Infrastructure: Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, systems, hardware, software, and technology operations across campuses.
- Digital Transformation: Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance teaching, learning, administration, and overall user experience.
- Cybersecurity - Data Privacy: Ensure robust cybersecurity, data protection, access controls, and IT risk management practices.
- IT Operations: Ensure reliability, scalability, availability, and smooth functioning of all critical IT systems and services.
- Technology Budgeting: Manage IT budgets, investments, vendors, and technology procurement with a focus on cost efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead the IT team while establishing clear processes, SLAs, and performance standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior leadership, academic teams, administration, and other stakeholders to understand technology requirements.
- Vendor - Partner Management: Manage technology vendors, service providers, contracts, and strategic partnerships.
- Innovation - Emerging Technology: Evaluate and adopt relevant technologies such as AI, automation, cloud solutions, and analytics to drive institutional effectiveness.
