Chief Information Officer - Banking/FinTech

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution: Spearhead development and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring team productivity, timeline adherence, and successful project delivery.

People Leadership: Provide direct oversight, mentoring, and continuous coaching to tech managers and project heads, grooming them into next-generation leaders.

Talent Management: Manage performance appraisals, strategic hiring, and skills development to optimize team capabilities across multi-layered structures.

Operational Governance: Oversee infrastructure and support teams to maintain system reliability, manage incidents, and protect business continuity.

Budget & Cost Control: Manage complex infrastructure and project budgets, driving tactical initiatives to control costs and maximize technical ROI.

Compliance & Risk: Partner with internal Risk and Security teams to ensure all project workflows and systems comply with strict regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI audits).

Role Requirements:

Experience: 20+ years in technology leadership, with 5+ years managing large cross-functional teams and complex project budgets.

Domain Expertise: A proven track record in a highly regulated or transaction-heavy environment like BFSI, Payments, or Fintech.

People Management: Demonstrated excellence in inspiring, structuring, and scaling flat or multi-layered engineering and operations organizations.

Communication: Strong business acumen with the communication skills needed to present technical progress clearly to investors and corporate stakeholders.

Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field from a premium institution.
