Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Impact Measurement Strategy & Framework Development
- Design, implement, and own a comprehensive impact measurement framework across all programs.
- Establish rigorous methodologies for impact evaluation, including experimental and quasi-experimental designs.
- Define core KPIs for each project before implementation, covering impact, behavioural change, and economic leverage.
- Oversee creation of robust pre-implementation baselines to ensure credible attribution of results.
Data Collection & Analysis:
- Lead systematic post-implementation data collection from multiple sources such as police e-DAR records, hospital logs, traffic surveys, and on-ground qualitative insights.
- Ensure high standards of data integrity, accuracy, and comparability with baseline data.
- Conduct and supervise quantitative analyses including beforeafter and control-group comparisons to measure change and estimate lives saved and crashes avoided.
- Direct qualitative research including field verification visits, documentation, and collection of photo/video evidence to enrich quantitative findings.
Reporting, Learning & Strategic Dissemination:
- Translate complex analytical insights into clear, concise dashboards for the CEO, Board, and key stakeholders.
- Build a structured process for sharing insights with Research, Fundraising, Policy, and Technical teams to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead the creation of annual and project-specific impact reports demonstrating achievements with transparency and credibility.
Team Leadership & Capacity Building:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team specialising in quantitative research, qualitative assessments, MEL, and data analysis.
- Design and deliver technical training and capacity-building programs for the broader Technical Team, including modules on research methods and data analysis.
External Partnerships & Validation:
- Manage partnerships with third-party evaluation agencies for independent MEL studies and external validations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for academic and research institutions working in the field of impact evaluation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL).
- Advanced knowledge of quantitative & qualitative research methodologies.
- Proven experience in data analysis, impact evaluation, and reporting.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multi-stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
