Head: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
The Role:
The company is looking for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the Corporate HR function and partner closely with the leadership team in building the organisation for its next phase of growth.
The CHRO will be responsible for developing and executing the overall people strategy, strengthening organisational capabilities and building a high-performance culture across the corporate and manufacturing businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the overall HR strategy aligned with the company business objectives and growth plans.
- Partner with the Promoters and senior leadership team on organisation design, leadership development and talent strategy.
- Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession plan for critical positions.
- Strengthen performance management, employee engagement and talent retention.
- Lead organisation development and culture-building initiatives.
- Develop compensation and reward strategies aligned with business performance.
- Strengthen HR systems, processes, policies and governance across the organisation.
- Build strong HR capabilities across corporate and manufacturing locations.
- Drive learning and development initiatives, with a focus on building future-ready capabilities.
- Provide strategic HR support during business expansion, organisational changes and new initiatives.
- Ensure strong HR governance, compliance and employee relations across manufacturing operations.
Candidate Profile:
- 20+ years of experience in Human Resources, with significant experience in senior HR leadership roles.
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is essential.
- Should have worked closely with the Promoter/CEO and senior leadership teams on strategic HR matters.
- Strong experience in Corporate HR, organisation development, talent management and leadership development.
- Experience managing HR across both corporate and manufacturing environments.
- Graduate/Postgraduate qualification in HR/Personnel Management; MBA/PGDM from a reputed B-school preferred.
- Strong business understanding and ability to connect people strategy with business outcomes.
- Mature, hands-on and pragmatic leader with strong stakeholder management skills.
