Job Description : The Chief Human Resources Officer will act as a strategic partner to the executive team, responsible for shaping our company culture, ensuring the wellbeing of our employees, and managing all aspects of our HR department, from talent acquisition to benefits administration and performance management. Responsibilities : - Develop and implement an overarching HR strategy that aligns with our company's goals and objectives. - Oversee all recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and workforce management processes. - Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and reduces turnover. - Collaborate with department managers to identify skills gaps and ensure they are filled. - Ensure the company complies with all labor laws and employment standards. - Administer payroll and benefits, ensure compensation packages remain competitive. - Implement comprehensive wellness and mental health programs. - Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy and legal requirements. - Address employee concerns and grievances, mediating in conflicts or disputes. - Develop succession plans for key leadership roles. - Lead workplace diversity initiatives, promoting an inclusive company culture. - Prepare and manage the HR budget. Qualifications : - Minimum 20 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the FMCG industry. - Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. An MBA or similar advanced degree would be an advantage. - Expert knowledge of HR best practices. - Proficient in HRIS and other HR technology. - Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities. - Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. - Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. - Proven experience in managing a team and working collaboratively with different departments. - The successful candidate will have a passion for people development, a strong understanding of HR strategic planning, and the ability to inspire trust and respect among all employees.
