
The CHRO / India HR Head will be the custodian of the people agenda across India operations, acting as a strategic partner to the MD and leadership team. The role will drive organizational effectiveness, cultural transformation, leadership capability, and workforce stability across corporate and plant environments.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the MD and senior leadership, providing strategic counsel on workforce planning, organization design, leadership capability, and succession.
- Translate business strategy into enterprise-wide HR strategies aligned with short- and long-term organizational goals.
- Drive performance management systems including goal setting, reviews, and leadership development frameworks.
- Lead succession planning and build robust talent pipelines for leadership and critical technical roles.
- Oversee leadership development, high-potential programs, and capability-building initiatives.
- Design and implement HR policies, frameworks, and SOPs aligned with business needs, employee well-being, and statutory requirements.
- Drive enterprise-wide employee engagement initiatives to strengthen organizational culture, retention, and employer brand.
- Work closely with legal, finance, and external agencies on audits, inspections, and regulatory matters.
- Lead India HR operations while supporting allied businesses in South East Asia on HR strategy, governance, and leadership initiatives.
- Provide leadership to Plant HR teams on employee engagement, productivity, workforce discipline, and cultural alignment.
- Ensure accuracy, governance, and compliance in payroll operations across all locations.
