Role Overview

For a leading German MNC in the automotive manufacturing space, we are looking to hire a seasoned CFO / Commercial Director to lead India operations. This role carries end-to-end responsibility for financial strategy, large-scale P&L ownership, corporate governance, and strategic leadership. The incumbent will also act as a Statutory Board Member, contributing directly to long-term business direction and value creation.

- 18-20 years of total experience, with last 3-5 years as a Strategic Finance Leader

- Automotive / Automobile Manufacturing experience (Core mandate)

- P&L ownership of INR 2,000-2,500+ Crores

- Statutory Board Member experience for a minimum of 2 years (Profiles limited to board meeting participation, MIS reporting, or advisory inputs will not be accepted)

- Strong Management Accounting expertise

- Excellent stakeholder management, including Global / HQ stakeholders

- Dynamic, aggressive, and strategic leadership mindset

Base location: Bangalore

- Kannada / Tamil speaking - Value add (not mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial and commercial strategy aligned with India and global business objectives

- Full ownership of large-scale P&L, profitability, and capital efficiency

- Active participation at Board level on governance and strategic decisions

- Ensure statutory compliance, audits, taxation, and corporate governance standards

- Drive cost optimization, financial controls, and process excellence

- Partner with MD, India leadership, and global teams on business expansion

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance leadership team

Educational Qualification

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

- MBA from a premier B-school - Preferred
