Chief Financial Officer - Waste to Energy

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership & Business Finance

- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, MIS, financial reporting, and business performance monitoring.

- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) including project-wise profitability, cost tracking, and revenue recognition.

- Drive preparation of Board presentations, management dashboards, and investor reporting.

2. Working Capital & Collections Management

- Manage working capital in high-DSO environments (200+ days).

- Design and execute collection strategies to optimize cash flows and reduce receivable cycles.

- Drive billing, invoicing, collections, and recovery processes from Central/State Government entities and municipal corporations.

- Ensure effective cash flow planning in prolonged payment cycle environments.

3. Project Finance & Treasury

- Manage project finance structures including debt servicing, lender compliance, drawdowns, and refinancing.

- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and lenders for funding and working capital facilities.

- Lead treasury operations and optimize deployment of surplus funds.

4. Compliance, Controls & Governance

- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, GST, direct tax, and sector-specific requirements.

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory authorities.

- Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and ERP-driven reporting systems.

Strategic & Commercial Support

- Support business development initiatives through financial modeling, bid support, project viability analysis, and contract negotiations.

- Partner with leadership teams on strategic decision-making and growth planning.

5. Team Leadership

- Build, mentor, and lead finance teams across corporate and project locations.
