We are looking for a commercially oriented finance leader to partner with the MD and business heads on strategic and operational decision-making. The role will lead financial planning, MIS, analytics, controllership, compliance, and business partnering, while providing financial insights to support pricing, new service lines, capital investments, and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a strategic financial advisor to the MD and functional heads on business performance and key investment decisions.

- Provide financial analysis and recommendations on pricing of tests and services, new service lines, laboratory expansion, and capital expenditure on equipment and infrastructure.

- Lead FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, business planning, variance analysis, and financial modelling.

- Build and strengthen MIS, dashboards, management reports, and financial analytics to enable data-driven decision-making.

- Develop business performance metrics and provide actionable insights on revenue, margins, costs, profitability, and cash flows.

- Lead accounting and controllership activities, ensuring accuracy, timely closure, and robust financial controls.

- Oversee statutory reporting, taxation, regulatory compliance, and coordination with auditors and external advisors.

- Partner with business and operational teams to identify cost optimization and profitability improvement opportunities.

- Evaluate business cases and financial viability of new investments, service offerings, and expansion initiatives.

- Establish strong financial governance, internal controls, and reporting processes appropriate for a growing organization.

- Present financial performance, forecasts, business insights, and strategic recommendations to the MD and senior leadership.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while driving process improvements and automation.

Required Candidate Profile:

- Qualified CA with 10 - 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

- Strong experience across FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, MIS, financial planning, and management reporting.

- Proven track record of building MIS dashboards and translating financial and operational data into actionable business insights.

- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting decisions related to pricing, new business/service lines, CapEx, and expansion.

- Hands-on understanding of accounting, controllership, statutory compliance, and taxation.

- Experience working in an SME, owner-managed, entrepreneurial, or mid-sized organization is strongly preferred.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work directly with promoters, MDs, business heads, and functional leaders.

- Excellent analytical, financial modelling, communication, and decision-support capabilities.

- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory services, or other asset-intensive service businesses will be preferred.
