Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO, executive leadership, and board of directors to shape the company's long-term growth plans and investment strategies.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead the development of financial forecasting models, budgets, and financial reports, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance, industry trends, and market opportunities to inform decision-making.
Operational Financial Management:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management, accounts payable/receivable, tax compliance, and payroll.
- Develop and implement financial controls and processes to optimize operational efficiency and reduce financial risk.
Automotive Industry Insights:
- Utilize industry-specific knowledge to manage the financial implications of manufacturing, supply chain management, automotive sales, and after-sales services.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to assess the financial viability of new vehicle launches, cost structures, and dealership network expansions.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Implement robust risk management strategies, including financial risk assessments, insurance management, and compliance with regulatory standards, especially within the automotive sector.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with tax and financial reporting requirements.
Investor Relations:
- Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and other key financial stakeholders.
- Present the company's financial position and future outlook to the board, investors, and potential partners.
- Lead capital raising efforts when needed, including debt and equity financing.
- Actionable financial insights for long-term growth and investment decisions.
- Efficient cash flow management, tax compliance, and adherence to financial controls.
- Implementation of cost-saving measures
- Informed financial strategies for vehicle production, sales, and supply chain management
- Effective risk mitigation strategies and full regulatory compliance, especially within the automotive industry.
- Timely tax filings and financial reporting
- Financial presentations to investors and stakeholders
- Progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO, VP of Finance, or similar)
- Prior experience with mergers, acquisitions, or raising capital
