Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Just In Time (Retail - Watches & Accessories)
Location: Mumbai
Reporting To: Promoters
Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-caliber CFO with deep expertise in finance and IPO readiness to partner with the leadership team in steering Just In Time through its next growth phase. The role demands a strategic yet hands-on leader who can drive financial discipline, strengthen governance, and build a public-market-ready organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IPO Readiness & Capital Markets Leadership
- Lead end-to-end IPO journey including financial restructuring, diligence, DRHP/RHP, and listing execution
- Manage stakeholders including investment bankers, legal advisors, auditors, and SEBI
- Drive listing on NSE / BSE
- Ensure seamless transition to post-listing governance, disclosures, and compliance frameworks
2. Corporate Finance Leadership (Critical Addition)
- Own and drive capital structure strategy, fundraising, and treasury management
- Lead PE/VC funding rounds, structured debt, and pre-IPO placements
- Build advanced financial models, valuation frameworks, and scenario planning
- Evaluate M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments
- Optimize ROCE, EBITDA margins, and shareholder value creation
3. Compliance, Governance & Risk (Head Role)
- Act as the Head of Compliance, ensuring adherence to Ind AS, Companies Act, and listing regulations
- Build and strengthen internal controls, audit frameworks, and risk governance structures
- Drive board governance, policy frameworks, and ethical financial practices
- Oversee secretarial, legal-financial interface, and regulatory filings
4. Retail Financial Excellence
- Drive performance across multi-store retail and omni-channel operations
- Optimize inventory cycles, stock turns, and working capital efficiency
- Improve store-level profitability and cost structures
- Support store expansion strategy and ROI-driven decision-making
5. Strategic Finance & Business Partnership
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and performance tracking frameworks
- Partner with CEO on growth strategy, expansion, and scalability planning
- Bring data-driven decision-making discipline across the organization
6. Investor Relations & Market Positioning
- Build and manage relationships with institutional investors and analysts
- Drive investor communication, valuation narrative, and earnings visibility
- Position the company as a credible and attractive public-market story
7. Leadership & Organizational Impact
- Build and lead a high-performance finance, corporate finance, and compliance team
- Act as a trusted advisor to CEO & Board
- Bring maturity, governance, and structured thinking to a promoter-driven environment
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 15-25 years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Strong background in Retail / Consumer / Luxury / Omni-channel businesses
- Proven experience in IPO execution or readiness
- Experience in scaling high-growth organizations (preferably multi-location retail)
- Prior exposure to PE/VC-backed companies is highly preferred
Qualifications - Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory
