This includes deep involvement in due diligence, restructuring, financial reporting standardization (Ind AS/IFRS), and liaising with investment banks, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies (SEBI).

- M&A/Structuring: Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures (JVs). Lead the financial structuring of complex project financing deals and large-scale land acquisitions.

- Corporate Governance: Establish and maintain best-in-class corporate governance frameworks, financial controls, and internal audit mechanisms to ensure transparency and fiduciary responsibility.

3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee all budgeting, financial modeling, and long-range forecasting activities, providing accurate and timely reporting to the Board and executive team.

- Performance Analysis: Drive detailed project-level financial analysis, tracking profitability, cost-to-complete, IRR, and NPV for all ongoing and planned real estate projects. Implement systems for granular cost control and value engineering across construction phases.

- Cost Management: Implement effective cost management strategies across all corporate and project expenses to maximize operational efficiency and profit margins.

4. Accounting, Compliance & Risk Management

- Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and tax compliance requirements relevant to the Real Estate sector (e.g., RERA, GST, Income Tax).

- Financial Reporting: Own the entire financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS).

- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage financial, operational, and regulatory risks impacting the business, developing robust mitigation strategies.
