About the Role:

We are looking for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function of a reputed real estate development organization. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in real estate finance, financial planning, fundraising, debt structuring, taxation, compliance, and capital management, along with a strong understanding of the regulatory environment governing the real estate industry.

The candidate should have prior experience handling a similar senior finance leadership role with a renowned real estate developer and possess strong commercial, strategic, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee the complete finance, accounting, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting functions of the organization.

- Drive financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and overall financial performance.

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, financial statement preparation, general ledger management, book closure, and statutory reporting.

- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), direct and indirect taxation laws, and applicable financial regulations.

- Maintain strong working knowledge and ensure compliance with RERA, GST, SEBI regulations, Companies Act, and other applicable corporate finance laws.

- Lead debt structuring, project finance, fundraising, refinancing, and capital-raising initiatives.

- Manage relationships and communications with banks, financial institutions, investors, private equity funds, lenders, auditors, regulators, and other key stakeholders.

- Develop and implement effective capital structuring and funding strategies aligned with the organization's business and project requirements.

- Oversee real estate project finance, including project funding, cash-flow planning, financial feasibility, cost monitoring, and fund utilization.

- Provide strategic financial insights to the management and support key business and investment decisions.

- Monitor financial risks and develop appropriate strategies for liquidity management, risk mitigation, and capital optimization.

- Ensure robust internal financial controls, governance, audit processes, and compliance frameworks.

- Partner with the leadership team on business expansion, acquisitions, investments, project launches, and strategic initiatives.

- Lead and mentor the finance team while building a high-performance and compliance-driven finance function.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.

- 18+ years of overall experience in finance, accounting, taxation, and corporate finance.

- Prior experience in a CFO / Finance Director / Head of Finance / equivalent senior finance leadership role.

- Strong and exhaustive knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and taxation laws.

- Strong understanding of RERA, GST, SEBI, Companies Act, and corporate finance regulations.

Hands-on experience in:

- Financial reporting

- Financial statement preparation

- General ledger accounting

- Month-end/year-end book closure

- Direct & indirect taxation

- Treasury and cash-flow management

- Proven experience in debt structuring, fundraising, project financing, and investor management.

- Strong knowledge of real estate finance, project funding, capital structuring, and financial modelling.

- Prior experience working with reputed/renowned real estate developers is mandatory.

- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a senior finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with strategic business and commercial understanding. The candidate should have a proven track record of managing large-scale finance functions within the real estate development sector and should be comfortable dealing with promoters, investors, lenders, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
