Position Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, leading the financial strategy and ensuring sound operational finance management across the organization.

The role will focus on financial planning & analysis (FP&A), financial controls, compliance, audit, taxation, cost control, budgeting, stakeholder management, and process improvement. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and MD to ensure robust financial health and institutional discipline while enabling data-driven decision- making and organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy, Planning & Analysis

- Lead the company's annual budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year business planning processes.

- Provide insightful financial analysis, scenario modelling, and cost-benefit evaluations to support business decisions.

- Develop and implement KPI dashboards and performance tracking systems for leadership.

- Align financial strategies with long-term business goals, driving value creation and sustainable growth.

2. Capital Management, Fundraising & M&A

- Develop capital structure strategies to optimize cost of capital and cash flow.

- Lead debt and equity fundraising efforts, including relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.

- Manage liquidity, treasury, and investment strategies to support business expansion.

- Oversee mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and integration activities as required.

3. Controllership, Compliance & Company Secretary Oversight

- Ensure accurate and timely closure of accounts, in compliance with Indian GAAP, IND AS, and IFRS where applicable.

- Lead statutory and internal audits, tax compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and ensure adherence to RERA regulations.

- Strengthen internal controls, enterprise risk frameworks, and governance mechanisms.

- Supervise the Company Secretary function, ensuring compliance with corporate, board, and legal obligations under Companies Act and other relevant laws.

4. Operational Excellence & Technology Transformation

- Oversee end-to-end finance operations including accounting, treasury, payables, receivables, and MIS.

- Review and enhance SAP ERP system and drive automation across finance workflows.

- Introduce systems and best practices where gaps exist and champion continuous process improvement.

5. Stakeholder & Board Management

- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, presenting financial health, projections, and strategic insights.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, auditors, legal advisors, regulatory bodies, and external partners.

- Enable real-time visibility of financial data through dashboards and live reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).

6. Team Leadership & Talent Development

- Build, coach, and retain a high-performing finance team aligned with strategic goals.

- Drive a culture of integrity, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning within the finance function.


Qualifications & Experience:


- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.


- MBA (Finance), CPA, CFA, or CS qualifications are preferred.


- 18-20 years of progressive experience, with 5-7 years in a CFO or equivalent leadership role.


- Proven track record in strategic finance, operational excellence, fundraising and compliance.


- Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, or capital-intensive sectors preferred.


- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).

- Adept at managing under pressure and delivering results within tight timelines.
