Role Overview
The CFO will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving the organization's financial strategy, governance, and long-term value creation. This role requires deep real estate expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in the luxury segment and exposure to IPO-readiness or listing processes will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business modeling for all projects.
- Drive capital allocation strategy to support business expansion, project execution, and financial sustainability.
Financial Management & Controls
- Ensure strong financial discipline, accurate reporting, compliance, and robust internal controls.
- Oversee treasury operations, cash flows, project finance, and working capital management.
- Optimize financial efficiency through cost management, risk mitigation, and structured financial governance.
Business Partnering & Leadership
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on financial performance, investments, and growth opportunities.
- Provide commercial insights to support land acquisitions, project feasibility assessments, pricing decisions, and JV negotiations.
- Lead, mentor, and strengthen the finance team for high performance and accountability.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage effectively with investors, lenders, banks, rating agencies, auditors, and other key partners.
- Build trust and credibility with internal stakeholders-projects, construction, sales, and legal-to ensure seamless business execution.
- Represent the company in financial discussions, negotiations, and key industry forums.
Regulatory, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and RERA requirements.
- Drive audit processes, financial risk management, and transparency across reporting functions.
- IPO & Fundraising (Preferred)
- Support the organization's capital-markets journey, including IPO preparedness, due-diligence, investor documentation, and corporate governance readiness.
- Manage equity/debt fundraising with institutions, PE investors, and capital partners.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant with 18-25 years of progressive experience in real estate finance.
- Strong financial fundamentals supported by hands-on exposure across project finance, corporate finance, treasury, taxation, and compliance.
- Proven track record of partnering closely with promoters and senior leadership.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with IPO processes or PE/IB stakeholder management is a strong advantage.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment with high expectations of excellence.
