Chief Financial Officer - Real Estate - CA

Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Experience: Minimum 15+ years in Finance & Accounts.

Industry Preference: Real Estate sector.

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai.

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).

Joining: Immediate 30 Days.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Control:

- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of robust financial systems, controls, and processes across all business verticals and holdings.

Corporate Finance:

- Optimize the balance sheet structure and oversee capital allocation to support business objectives.

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

- Contribute to overall strategic direction and investment prioritization alongside the executive team.

Risk Management:

- Develop and implement an effective financial and strategic risk framework across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Partner with the CEO in setting strategic financial direction and enabling the Group's long-term success.

- Support the CEO in raising capital, loans, and potential venture funding as needed.

- Establish, monitor, and enhance financial controls and supporting information systems.

- Strengthen internal control mechanisms across the organization.

- Supervise and train finance, accounts, audit, and tax personnel to ensure high performance and compliance.

- Oversee banking relationships, financing activities, capital structure, and ensure compliance with covenants and hedging arrangements.

- Develop and oversee effective direct and indirect tax strategies and ensure tax compliance.

- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements and management discussion & analysis (quarterly and annual).

- Supervise internal audit functions and coordinate external audit engagements.

- Liaise with external auditors on financial disclosures required for any regulatory or investor documentation, if applicable.

- Assist the Audit Committee in executing its responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
