Job Purpose : The core purpose of this role is to run efficient finance operations. The role is expected to contribute towards strategic matters for 1 segment of the business for this large corporate. Strategic Responsibilities : - Financial planning, budgeting & forecasting. - Drive financial performance. - Financial analytics & benchmarking. - Act a business partner to the CEO & the Managing Committee. - Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the Firm. - Financial Reporting Operational Responsibilities : Operations & Accounting : - Funding Partner management - Work closely with the Firm's auditor's related to financial matters - Statutory compliances - Team Management Requisite Skills & Attributes : - Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance - Must have experience of working in a senior finance role, including experience of managing a finance team / function. - High level understanding of strategy & operations in a professional services set-up. - In depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices. - Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. - Experience in financial management software's (e.g. ERP) - Strong leadership and organizational skills. - Should have good IT Skills. - An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers. - Relationship Management. - Excellent communication and team management skills. - Well organized and self-directed.
