Talisman Advisors is looking for CFO for Private Equity firm to be based out of Delhi NCR Role : - Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/Partners and members of the executive management team on Business and Financial Strategy, strategic/financial planning and management - Managing Finance, accounts, admin, tax, legal and compliance function of the Company in a holistic manner - Participate in the firms expansion activities ( investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances and JV's etc.,) - Responsible for ensuring the timely preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements for internal and external parties and including liaising with the Auditor - Compute taxes and prepare tax returns for each of the US Investments and prepare K1 for each investor - GST record keeping, return filing, advance tax filing and related compliance - Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles and collect, analyse and summarize account information - Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics and generate MIS report - Managing a zero tolerance environment for internal controls, corporate governance and statutory compliance and ensure that any compliance related risks are identified, mitigated, and addressed - Handling all accounts related activities including finalization of annual accounts, direct and indirect taxes compliance, statutory audits, costing and budgeting - Controls all company spending to ensure reasonableness and validity of the expenses Qualification and requirements : - CA or MBA Finance from a reputed institute - At least 8 years of progressive experience in relevant areas of expertise - Must have been a number two of a mid sized Private Equity, Investment bank, or a Wealth Management firm - Must have participated in fund raise activities and possess Financial modelling experience. - Have experience in use of technology, ERP Systems and digital environment for furtherance of business - Emotional Intelligence with a high level of integrity, honesty and empathy - Entrepreneurial but pragmatic and conservative when necessary - Strong decision-making ability and persuasive communication skills - Ability to maintain trust and strong personal relationships despite potentially disagreeing on business decisions
