Chief Financial Officer
Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy during a high-growth phase and through an upcoming IPO.
The ideal candidate will have a mandatory CA qualification and recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in IPO preparation and execution.
This role is critical for ensuring regulatory readiness, driving value creation, and building stakeholder confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership:
- Lead financial planning, risk management, and performance reporting.
- Develop and manage financial and tax strategies in collaboration with the executive management team.
- Provide financial expertise and guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
- Manage and mentor the finance department, guiding a team of finance professionals.
Financial Operations & Management:
- Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing projects, and proposed new sites.
- Analyze and make recommendations on the impact of long-range planning and new strategies.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements.
- Oversee the IPO preparation and execution, focusing on regulatory readiness.
Skills:
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in IPO preparation and execution.
- Strong leadership and strategic vision.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A comprehensive understanding of financial due diligence, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with management and stakeholders.
Industry-Specific Skills:
- Recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is mandatory.
Education & Experience
Education: A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
