Financial Strategy

Risk management- Financial, strategic, operational, compliance, supply chain, and technology risks.

- Regulatory compliance, establishment of internal standard operating procedures in the Finance Unit.

- Lead the on-going review and revision of financial policies and procedures.

- Accounting, Banking, Budgeting, Forecasting for an International NGO

Key Responsibilities :

- Direct the end-to-end financial strategy and fiscal planning for INGO operations to ensure long-term sustainability and resource optimization.

- Oversee global compliance and regulatory reporting, ensuring all financial activities adhere to international standards and local jurisdictional requirements.

- Lead the preparation and analysis of complex financial statements and donor-specific reports to maintain transparency with stakeholders and funding partners.

- Manage multi-currency treasury operations and cash flow forecasting to mitigate risks associated with international humanitarian project cycles.

- Partner with cross-functional leadership teams to develop robust internal controls and audit frameworks that safeguard organizational assets.

- Drive the digital transformation of financial processes, implementing scalable systems that enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, risk management, and strategic planning, typically supported by a CA, CPA, or MBA from a premier institution

Team management

Non-negotiable - Professional accountancy designation from a recognized institution (ACCA, CA, ICMA, CPA)with seniority and leadership in a similar position with an international NGO
