Chief Financial Officer - NBFC/MFI

Job Objective:

- To formulate, gain agreement to and implement financial control strategies, policies and procedures to ensure that organizational performance is within set financial and other business plans, ensuring the Group possesses financial stability and systems of control necessary for its future growth and success. This position is responsible for monitoring and reporting the overall financial performance.

- The CFO will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to the organization. The role would encompass all aspects of business and growth including strategy, fundraising, financial analysis, budgeting, treasury, accounting, taxation (both direct and indirect), audits and relationship management with all stakeholders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategy Development:

- Formulation and implementation of overall financial strategies and plans should interact and support the Board in making strategic decisions.

- Policies, Processes and Procedures:

- Develop and oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Finance department activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.

- Role encompasses regulatory compliance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), cash flow management, forecasting and strategizing, treasury, and management of liquidity.

Team Management:

- Lead team of Finance, Treasury and Accounts, ensuring operational efficiency and accountability. Mentor finance professionals and cultivate a high-performing finance workforce.

Plans & Budgets:

- Responsible for providing necessary financial input for the preparation of detailed budgets and financial plans

- Lead debt and equity raises to fuel business growth strategy.

Financial Reporting:

- Responsible for ensuring the timely preparation of statements reporting the financial position and results of the company to management and regulatory agencies.

- Ensuring the timely completion and submission of financial and statistical reporting for management and regulatory agencies.
