Looking for a CFO having worked min 5-8 yrs into the MFI /NBFC handling Rural Finances / Rural Channels with 20-22 yrs of overall work exp. To be based in Chennai (not hybrid) ; Qualification : CA JOB OBJECTIVE: - To formulate, gain agreement to and implement financial control strategies, policies and procedures to ensure that organisational performance is within set financial and other business plans, ensuring the Group possesses the financial stability and systems of control necessary for its future growth and success. - This position is responsible for monitoring and reporting the overall financial performance of Rural Channels. - The CFO will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to the organization. - The role would encompass all aspects of business and growth including strategy, fund raising, financial analysis, budgeting, treasury, accounting, taxation (both direct and indirect), audits and relationship management with all stakeholders. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Strategy Development: - Formulation and implementation of overall financial strategies and plans, which enable the achievement of organisational goals & objectives Policies, Processes and Procedures: - Develop and oversee the implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of the Finance department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers Plans & Budgets: - Responsible for providing necessary financial inputs for the preparation of detailed budgets and financial plans Financial Reporting: - Responsible for ensuring the timely preparation of statements reporting the financial position and results of the company to management and regulatory agencies. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: - CA by qualification with a minimum of 20+ years of work - Experience in Finance and Accounts out of which the last 5 years+ must have been in a NBFC - Good working knowledge of Companies Act , Internal Finance Control , Income Tax and Service - Leadership & Management skills - Strategic thinking & decision-making skills
