Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - NBFC

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 15 - 20 years in Finance & Accounts (preferably in NBFCs or Financial Services)

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance leader with deep domain expertise in the NBFC/BFSI sector, strong regulatory knowledge, and a proven track record in fundraising, compliance, and financial strategy. This is a pivotal leadership role that will directly contribute to the organization's long-term growth and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth.

- Drive equity and debt fundraising through banks, financial institutions, and capital markets.

- Build and nurture relationships with investors, lenders, credit rating agencies, and regulatory bodies.

- Oversee treasury operations, cash flow, and working capital management.

- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.

- Monitor financial risks, implement strong internal controls, and drive cost optimization initiatives.

- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, MIS, and oversee statutory audits.

- Collaborate with the Board and senior leadership to align financial planning with organizational objectives.

- Drive strategic investments, M&A opportunities, and corporate governance practices.

Key Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- 15-20 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with strong exposure to the NBFC/BFSI sector.

- Proven expertise in fundraising (debt/equity) and investor relations.

- Strong understanding of RBI regulations, compliance frameworks, and credit rating processes.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving profitability and operational excellence.
