Role Overview:
This Chief Financial Officer role is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the NBFC. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, senior management team, and the board of directors to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives. This role involves managing financial reporting, planning, forecasting, treasury, and valuation activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing financial performance. The CFO will play a pivotal role in driving profitability, managing risk, and enhancing shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Manage the company's treasury functions, including cash flow management, investment strategies, and risk mitigation.
- Direct the valuation of assets and liabilities, ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting.
- Oversee NBFC operations from a financial perspective, ensuring efficient and effective resource allocation and utilization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and investors.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, planning, forecasting, treasury management, and valuation.
- Deep understanding of NBFC operations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Experience in managing relationships with auditors, regulators, and investors.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.
- Minimum of 18-25 years of relevant experience in the financial services, with preference for NBFCs
