Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and business-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's finance function and partner with senior leadership in driving sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in treasury management, financial planning, manufacturing finance, taxation, statutory compliance, fundraising, and strategic financial decision-making within a manufacturing environment.
This role requires a finance leader capable of strengthening financial controls, optimizing working capital, managing banking relationships, and supporting long-term business expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, annual operating plans, and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor business performance through MIS dashboards, financial reports, and key performance indicators.
- Manage treasury operations including cash flow planning, liquidity management, banking relationships, and working capital optimization.
- Handle forex transactions, currency risk management, and hedging strategies for import/export operations.
- Drive fundraising initiatives, debt structuring, and financial negotiations with banks and financial institutions.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Lead statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Oversee GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other direct and indirect taxation matters.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to improve costing methodologies, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis.
- Review product costing, standard costing, variance analysis, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Drive ERP implementation, finance process automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Support business expansion, mergers, acquisitions, investments, and strategic financial projects.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, RBI regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Mentor and lead the finance, accounts, taxation, treasury, and commercial finance teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
- CA is mandatory; MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
- 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in manufacturing, textile, apparel, or related industries.
- Strong exposure to treasury, taxation, budgeting, manufacturing finance, and financial planning.
- Experience in fundraising, banking relationships, and working capital management.
- Exposure to IPO or pre-IPO organizations will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and finance automation.
