Hiring: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance and accounting function for a growing manufacturing organization. The role will be responsible for driving financial strategy, business planning, cash flow management, fund management, MIS reporting, compliance, and financial governance while partnering closely with senior leadership to support business growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing finance, strategic financial planning, project financing, business partnering, and corporate finance, along with experience handling complex financial operations and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership & Strategy:

- Lead and manage the organization's finance and accounting functions.

- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.

- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, investments, and business expansion initiatives.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support key business decisions.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

- Analyze financial performance, profitability, and operational metrics.

- Develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives and investments.

- Monitor financial health and recommend actions to improve efficiency and profitability.

3. Cash Flow, Treasury & Fund Management:

- Manage cash flow planning, treasury operations, and working capital requirements.

- Oversee fund management, investments, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.

- Lead project financing initiatives and manage interactions with financial institutions and lenders.

- Ensure optimal utilization of financial resources and capital allocation.

4. Accounting & Financial Controls:

- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements and management reports.

- Establish and strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.

5. MIS & Business Reporting:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive MIS reporting systems for leadership and management teams.

- Provide timely financial dashboards, performance reports, and business insights.

- Track key financial and operational KPIs to support decision-making.

- Drive automation and improvement of financial reporting processes.

6. Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Management:

- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.

- Monitor collections, vendor payments, cash conversion cycles, and working capital efficiency.

- Implement controls to improve receivables management and optimize payment processes.

7. Joint Ventures & Corporate Finance:

- Review due diligence reports, transaction documents, and financial assessments related to Joint Ventures, strategic partnerships, and collaborations.

- Support mergers, acquisitions, business partnerships, and investment opportunities.

- Conduct financial risk assessments and evaluate business opportunities.

- Coordinate with legal, business, and external advisors during transactions.

8. Stakeholder Management:

- Build strong relationships with banks, auditors, investors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

- Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to leadership teams.

- Lead and mentor finance and accounting teams while building a high-performance finance organization.

Required Candidate Profile:

- 12-15 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Financial Leadership roles.

- Must have experience in Manufacturing, Petrochemicals, Plastics, Rubber, Industrial Manufacturing, or Process Industries.

- Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury, Fund Management, and MIS Reporting.

- Experience managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Working Capital, and Cash Flow.

- Hands-on exposure to Project Financing, Banking Relationships, and Investment Management.

- Experience reviewing due diligence reports, JV agreements, and transaction-related documentation.

- Strong business acumen and strategic decision-making capabilities.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Manufacturing Industry Background.

- Experience leading Finance & Accounting functions.

- Strong expertise in Financial Strategy, Cash Flow Management, and MIS Reporting.

- Experience in Joint Venture, Collaboration, or Corporate Finance activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CA (Chartered Accountant) preferred.

- MBA Finance, CMA, ICWA, or equivalent financial qualification will be an added advantage.
