Role Overview
- This is a CFO role suitable for an experienced Chartered Accountant (Age 45+) with deep experience in banking, taxation (GST & Income Tax), accounts leadership, and financial governance in a manufacturing environment.
- The candidate will play a strategic role, influencing financial planning, compliance, and risk management across companies operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Leadership
- Lead the entire Accounts & Finance function for manufacturing operations.
- Partner with top management for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow strategies.
- Ensure financial discipline, internal controls, and governance across the company.
Banking & Treasury
- Manage high-value banking relationships, credit facilities, loan structuring, renewals, and compliance.
- Oversee working capital management, treasury operations, and banking negotiations.
Taxation & Compliance
- Drive end-to-end GST strategy, audits, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead Income Tax planning, assessments, representations, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, statutory requirements, and internal audit frameworks.
Accounts Leadership
- Oversee balance sheet preparation, cost accounting, MIS reporting, and month/year-end closures.
- Manage asset accounting, project accounting, and financial accuracy for large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Strengthen accounting processes.
- High integrity, strong communication skills, and a result-oriented leadership approach.
- Lead interactions with auditors (statutory/internal/government), consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Audit & Coordination
- Lead interactions with auditors (statutory/internal/government), consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Represent the company in financial discussions with clients, vendors, EPC partners, and banks.
Candidate Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15-20+ years of progressive finance & accounts experience.
- Age 45+ preferred for maturity, leadership, and decision-making responsibility.
Strong track record in:
- Banking & treasury management
- GST & Income Tax
- Financial reporting & governance
- Large-scale manufacturing finance (mandatory or highly preferred)
- Ability to lead teams, implement systems, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Experience working with EPC, engineering, or industrial organizations is an advantage.
- High integrity, strong communication skills, and a result-oriented leadership approach.
