Key Responsibilities
Board Advisory & Strategic Influence:
- Strategic Partnering: Act as a critical advisor to the Board and Promoters, providing data backed insights that shape the long-term vision
- IPO & Public Markets: Lead the end-to-end financial readiness for public listing, managing relationships with merchant bankers, institutional investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Investor Relations: Build and maintain trust with shareholders and the financial community through transparent and visionary communication.
Financial Stewardship & Inventory Management:
- Bullion & Metal Strategy: Oversee Gold Metal Loan (GML) facilities and implement sophisticated hedging strategies to safeguard against market volatility.
- Retail Scaling: Develop financial models for rapid store expansion, ensuring capital efficiency and high ROI across new and existing territories.
- Cost & Supply Chain Optimization: Conduct deep-dive audits of margins and supply chain overheads to ensure the business remains lean and competitive.
Governance, Risk & Resilience:
- Listed Firm Compliance: Implement the rigorous financial reporting and disclosure standards required of a public company (SEBI, LODR, etc.).
- Risk Mitigation: Anticipate macroeconomic shifts and industry-specific risks, developing robust contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Institutional Controls: Standardize internal controls across all retail touchpoints to ensure zero-leakage and high-integrity financial tracking.
Leadership & Cultural Transformation:
- Mentorship: Build by mentoring high-potential finance professionals and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Change Management: Lead the organization through the cultural shift from a private entity to a disciplined, transparent listed corporation.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with an impeccable professional record.
- 15+ years of total experience, with a significant portion (5+ years) spent in a Senior Leadership/CFO role within a Listed Firm.
- Proven experience in a Board/Advisory capacity.
- Prior experience in the Gems & Jewellery or Luxury Retail industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in leading an IPO or managing post-listing compliance and investor relations.
