Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of company's global leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the company's financial strategy in alignment with its growth ambitions across 50+ countries. The role demands a balance of strategic foresight and operational excellence, overseeing global finance functions while enabling business transformation, governance, and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Formulate and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive long-term planning, capital allocation, and business performance modelling.
- Support M&A, partnerships, and new business ventures.
- Provide actionable financial insights and intelligence for strategic decision-making.
- Engage closely with the Board, independent directors, PEs, and strategic partners.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives for data-driven financial governance.
- Provide oversight and strategic guidance to group companies and subsidiaries.
2. Financial Management & Control
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting across global entities.
- Ensure compliance with Ind-AS, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and management information systems.
- Optimize capital structure, treasury operations, and cost of capital.
- Manage external audits and maintain transparent relations with auditors and regulators.
3. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management
- Own and optimize the working capital cycle as a key enabler of growth.
- Drive disciplined receivables management and minimize DSO.
- Manage banking relationships, facility renewals, and cash utilization efficiency.
- Implement effective payables, inventory, and project WIP management frameworks.
- Lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and prudent investment of surplus funds.
4. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to all statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations globally.
- Oversee risk management and business continuity frameworks.
- Maintain compliance for specialized domains like cybersecurity and government contracting.
- Anticipate and address regulatory developments impacting financial operations.
5. Strategic Transformation & IPO Readiness
- Lead financial transformation, corporate restructuring, and readiness for potential IPO.
- Oversee due diligence, investor communication, and compliance preparation.
- Drive ERP modernization, automation, and analytics adoption for finance operations.
- Champion initiatives for margin expansion and operational efficiency.
6. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board on strategic and financial matters.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global finance team.
- Foster strong engagement with banks, investors, analysts, and rating agencies.
- Cultivate a culture of integrity, accountability, and innovation within the finance function.
7. Key Requirements
- Experience: 20+ years post-qualification, including at least 5 years in senior finance leadership within IT / cybersecurity / technology services.
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus.
8. Expertise:
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-country financial operations.
- Strong working capital and cash flow management track record.
- Exposure to IPOs, private equity, or fundraising activities.
- Experience with global tax, treasury, and compliance frameworks.
- Skills: Strategic finance, governance, financial modelling, investor relations, digital transformation.
- Sector Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT services, cybersecurity models, and international contracting.
