Role Overview: The CFO will lead financial strategy and operations for a product-based IT company, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and global expansion through visionary financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic business decisions.

- Lead fundraising efforts, investor relations, and M&A activities, including due diligence and deal structuring.

- Implement robust risk management frameworks and ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local regulations (e.g., Companies Act, FEMA).

- Manage cash flow optimization, treasury operations, and financial controls to maintain liquidity and cost efficiency.

- Guide tax strategies, audit processes, and financial reporting for stakeholders and board presentations.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification with 8-10+ years of CFO-level experience in IT/product companies.

- Proven track record in multi-country operations, including US GAAP/IFRS convergence and cross-border transactions.

- Expertise in financial modeling, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and analytics tools for data-driven insights.

- Strong leadership to build high-performing finance teams and collaborate with C-suite on growth initiatives.

- Excellent communication skills for investor pitches and regulatory interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in SaaS/product-led IT firms with ARR models, venture funding, or IPO readiness.

- Knowledge of ESG reporting, cybersecurity financial risks, and AI-driven FP&A tools.

- Ability to mentor finance professionals and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
