Role Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy, operations, and governance. The ideal candidate will bring over 20 years of experience in finance and accounts, strong exposure to IPO processes, fundraising, investor relations, and corporate governance. This role requires a visionary leader who can partner with the board and CEO to drive business growth, profitability, and long-term shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Financial Planning:
- Define and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with long-term business goals.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with accuracy and transparency.
- Partner with senior leadership on business expansion, M&A opportunities, and risk management.
IPO & Fundraising:
- Drive IPO readiness, including preparation of DRHP, coordination with SEBI/regulators, and due diligence.
- Manage relationships with investment bankers, auditors, legal teams, and consultants.
- Lead equity/debt fundraising initiatives, ensuring optimal capital structuring.
Financial Management & Compliance:
- Oversee accounting, taxation, treasury, audit, and secretarial functions.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI, RBI, Companies Act, IFRS, and Indian GAAP standards.
- Drive internal control systems and risk management frameworks.
Investor Relations & Governance:
- Act as the key spokesperson for investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to maintain trust and market credibility.
- Present quarterly and annual results to the board and investors with clarity.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and strengthen the finance and accounts team across geographies.
- Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and high performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA - mandatory.
- 20+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 5 years in a leadership/CXO role.
- Proven track record in IPO handling, fund raising, and wealth management.
- Experience in manufacturing, real estate, infrastructure, BFSI, or listed company environments preferred.
- Deep expertise in financial regulations, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and stakeholder management skills.
