Group Chief Financial Officer
Role Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and the Board, offering financial leadership to enable scalable growth, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. This role oversees financial planning, reporting, capital structure, investor relations, risk management, taxation, and legal-commercial compliance for the organization's operations across a diverse client portfolio.
We are ideally looking at professionals who have been associated with Indian listed firms at leadership level.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and execute a financial strategy aligned with the organization's long-term vision.
- Advise the CEO and Board on performance, capital allocation, and investments.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process.
- Deliver accurate forecasting models and variance analysis to enable agile decisions.
Cash Flow & Liquidity Management:
- Ensure strong working capital management and liquidity.
- Optimize cash flow through oversight of receivables, payables, and treasury operations.
Capital Structure & Fundraising:
- Define and manage the optimal capital mix for business expansion.
- Lead fundraising initiatives through private, institutional, and strategic investors.
Return on Investment (ROI) & Cost Efficiency:
- Evaluate business verticals and projects for ROI.
- Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising operations.
Financial Reporting & Governance:
- Ensure timely and compliant financial reporting as per statutory requirements.
- Lead internal audits, controls, and governance frameworks.
Investor Relations & Stakeholder Reporting:
- Maintain transparent and structured communication with investors, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Build trust and credibility through consistent financial storytelling.
Taxation & Risk Management:
- Implement effective tax planning strategies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through governance policies and insurance.
Legal & Commercial Oversight:
- Partner with legal teams on financial aspects of contracts, negotiations, and regulatory compliance.

Education & Work Experience:
Educational Requirements - Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

- Preferred background in infrastructure, real estate, or asset-heavy service industries
Proven track record in:
- Fundraising, capital markets, and M&A
- Managing finance across geographically dispersed business units
