Job Objective:
In the current capacity, the individual will be responsible for driving the organization's financial strategy, governance framework, risk management processes, compliance standards, and investor relations. The role ensures financial transparency, regulatory adherence, and sustainable value creation for shareholders while enabling growth across all business verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and drive the company's long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals and shareholder expectations.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
- Evaluate financial risks and opportunities; guide leadership on strategic investments and business expansions.
- Ensure optimal cost structures, profitability analysis, and return on investments.
2. Financial Operations & Controls
- Oversee financial accounting, reporting, treasury, taxation, audit, and internal controls.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements as per Ind AS / IFRS / SEBI requirements.
- Direct cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital management.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, SOPs, and governance practices.
3. Compliance, Governance & Regulatory Affairs
- Ensure 100% compliance with SEBI, Companies Act, RBI guidelines (if applicable), GST, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure accurate and timely disclosures, public announcements, and filings as required for listed companies.
4. Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management
- Manage investor relations, earnings calls, analyst briefings, and stock exchange communications.
- Build strong relationships with shareholders, analysts, bankers, rating agencies, and financial institutions.
- Drive transparency, corporate governance, and confidence in the organisation's financial health.
5. Risk Management
- Identify financial, operational, credit, market, and regulatory risks and establish mitigation frameworks.
- Oversee the enterprise risk management system and ensure risk assurance to the Board.
- Monitor macro-economic trends and market movements that may impact business performance.
6. Strategic Leadership
- Act as a business partner to the CEO and Board in key strategic decisions.
- Support M&A evaluation, due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and integration.
- Drive digital transformation across finance-automation, analytics, ERP upgrades.
Key Result Areas:
- Develop and execute fund planning strategies supporting long-term growth and profitability, achieving revenue, profit, and ROI targets.
- Ensure overall governance & compliance related to taxation, secretarial and statutory compliances.
- Maintain an optimal working capital structure and securing necessary funding from various sources at favourable terms.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy at operational level, enhancing transparency and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Requirement:
- Commerce Graduate / MBA (Finance)
- 20+ years of experience
Desired:
- CA / MBA (Finance) from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution
- CMA + CPA
- Prior experience in a leadership role
- Prior experience in infrastructure-related organizations
