A valued client of Innoquest Consulting in the veterinary healthcare sector is looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to oversee the financial operations of their expanding healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that align with the organization's overall strategic goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial insights to support informed decision-making by the executive team.
- Establish and maintain a robust internal control environment to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigate financial risks.
- Direct the preparation and analysis of financial reports, providing clear and concise communication of financial performance to stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and regulatory agencies.
- Lead financial analysis initiatives to identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and improved operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement in financial performance.
- Manage the organization's capital structure, including debt financing, equity financing, and investment strategies, to optimize financial flexibility and minimize the cost of capital.
- Oversee the finance and accounting teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability within the healthcare domain.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with a strong understanding of healthcare finance principles.
- Deep understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management principles, and regulatory compliance requirements within the healthcare industry.
- Exceptional financial reporting and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a reputed institution.
- Possess 12-18 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with significant experience in the healthcare industry.
- Adaptable to work in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site presence with remote work as required.
