
Role Purpose
The CFO will lead fund accounting, financial strategy, governance, and corporate finance, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and strategic support to drive business growth and investor confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting & Reporting
- Own end-to-end fund accounting, NAV, capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and periodic financial statements.
- Financial Control & Compliance: Ensure Ind AS / IFRS compliance, strong internal controls, and timely statutory, fund, and investor audits.
- Investor & Stakeholder Management: Deliver investor reporting and MIS; manage financial queries and external stakeholders.
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis: Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and performance metrics (IRR, MOIL).
- Process Improvement & Systems: Drive standardisation, automation, and effective use of fund accounting systems.
- Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead junior team members and partner with Investment, Legal, and Compliance on transactions.
Corporate Finance
- Prepare and review financial models, projections, sensitivity analyses, and cash flow forecasts.
- Manage treasury operations, liquidity planning, capital deployment, and distributions.
- Assist in structuring and execution of debt, equity, and hybrid financing transactions on need basis.
- Coordinate with banks, lenders, financial advisors, and other financial counterparties.
- Monitor debt servicing, covenants, and lender reporting obligations.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA / CPA / CFA (CA preferred).
- 8 -10 years experience in fund accounting (PE / real estate / alternatives preferred).
- Strong audit, investor reporting, and financial modelling exposure.
