Dynamic and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our retail business based out of Chennai who has experience in handling Franchise model.. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on experience from a retail business environment and franchise model.. This role is critical in driving compliance, improving financial processes, and ensuring accurate reporting aligned with statutory requirements.

Job Description

- Provide management with financial insights for decision-making.

- Ensure utilization of funds for the purpose and towards the requirement.

- Assist to F&A team to Implement and improve internal controls and financial processes.

- Work closely with other departments to align financial goals with business objectives. Engage with the Business and Operations teams to align financial management with short- and long-term financial planning and projections

- Strengthen internal controls to prevent fraud and mismanagement.

- Ensure adherence to corporate governance and financial & internal policies.

- Analyse financial performance of retails outlets and provide strategic recommendations.

- Conduct physical verification of store and Assets stock and inventory at WH & Stores. To monitor cash transactions regularly and physically verify the cash on surprise basis.

- Reconcile stock records with ERP/ Excel systems and identify discrepancies.

- Ensure proper documentation of material receipts, issues, and stock movements.

- Verify vendor payments, contract compliance, and procurement processes at HO

- Check for unauthorized expenses, duplicate payments, or financial leakages.

- Ageing Analysis & core review of micro business processes

- Prepare reports and highlight critical issues to Management at Ahmedabad. Manage and handle the ongoing communication and build rapport as a single point contact.

- To record the minutes of monthly review meeting and circulate the same to concerned HODs for follow-up. To ensure that all points discussed in the previous month meeting have been addressed before the next meeting.
