Chief Financial Officer - Fractional - Internet/Online/eCommerce

Key Responsibilities:

1. Unit Economics & Marketplace Metrics:

- Build and own transaction-level / placement-level contribution margin models.

- Track and analyse CAC per worker, cost per placement, take rate, contribution margin and payback period.

- Develop cohort and retention economics.

- Translate unit economics into actionable decisions around pricing, growth and burn.

2. FP&A & Cash Management:

- Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and rolling forecasts.

- Lead monthly financial and variance reviews with business and leadership teams.

- Build and maintain 13-week cash-flow forecasts.

- Establish and monitor burn, spend and runway guardrails.

- Identify financial risks early and translate them into clear business actions.

3. Working Capital & Receivables:

- Manage working capital in a business with large enterprise customers.

- Own receivables forecasting and collections discipline.

- Track and manage 60 - 90+ day DSO cycles.

- Build escalation mechanisms for delayed collections.

- Assess the cash-flow impact of commercial decisions and support credit-risk management.

4. Business Partnership:

- Partner closely with founders and business leaders on financial and strategic decisions.

- Bring a strong financial lens to growth investments, pricing, cost structures and resource allocation.

- Build simple, decision-oriented financial dashboards and insights.

- Help create a culture of financial discipline across the organisation
