Chief Financial Officer - FMCG

- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company's operations, strategic growth, and long-term sustainability.

- This role requires a commercially astute leader with a strong grasp of FMCG industry dynamics-particularly in retail, wholesale and distribution-capable of balancing financial discipline with agility in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

- Financial Strategy & Leadership - Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with overall business objectives. Financial Management & Reporting Oversee preparation and accuracy of financial statements, management reports, and performance dashboards.

- Business Performance & Operational Excellence - Partner with sales, procurement, and operations teams to optimize pricing, margins, and inventory turnover.

- Risk Management & Compliance Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks. Strategic Growth & Investment Evaluate new business opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience/Education:

- Professional qualification: CA. o MBA in Finance or Strategic Management is an advantage. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field

- Experience: Minimum 16-20 years of progressive finance leadership experience. At least 8 years in a senior finance role (CFO, Finance Director, or GM - Finance) within an FMCG, retail and wholesale environment.

- Proven track record in managing complex supply chain and distribution-driven financial models.

- Experience in ERP implementation and financial automation preferred. Core Competencies Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset.

- Deep understanding of FMCG business dynamics-pricing, trade margins, distribution costs, and retail operations. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Analytical thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
