Chief Financial Officer (CFO):

We are looking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function and provide strategic financial leadership to the organisation. The role will partner closely with the Director and senior leadership team to drive financial strategy, capital allocation, governance, risk management and business performance across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and execute long-term financial strategies to support the Group's growth, diversification and expansion initiatives.

- Align financial planning and resource allocation with overall corporate objectives to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across the Group.

Capital Management:

- Oversee the allocation and deployment of significant Group investments, ensuring effective capital utilisation and returns.

- Secure and structure funding for new projects while maintaining liquidity and financial stability.

- Evaluate investment proposals and provide financial recommendations on major expansion and capital projects.

Governance & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to Russian and international accounting, taxation and applicable food industry regulations.

- Strengthen internal controls, financial policies and audit frameworks to safeguard financial integrity.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance.

Risk Management:

- Identify and manage financial and commercial risks across supply chains, expansion projects, contracts and international business operations.

- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to protect margins, liquidity and business continuity.

- Establish robust financial risk assessment and monitoring mechanisms.

Performance Monitoring:

- Track and monitor financial KPIs across the Group, ensuring transparency, accountability and performance discipline.

- Provide timely financial insights and recommendations to the Director and senior leadership for informed decision-making.

- Drive performance reviews and identify opportunities for profitability improvement and cost optimisation.

Investor & Stakeholder Relations:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, financial institutions and strategic partners through transparent and credible financial reporting.

- Communicate the financial viability, growth potential and expected returns of major business and expansion projects.

- Lead discussions with banks, investors, auditors and other key financial stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

- 15+ years of overall experience, with significant experience in senior finance leadership roles.

- Proven experience in a CFO / Finance Director / senior finance leadership position in a diversified or large-scale organisation.

- Strong experience across financial strategy, FP&A, treasury, capital management, controllership, risk management and governance.

- Experience managing finance for multiple businesses / entities / group companies would be preferred.

- Strong exposure to large-scale investments, project financing and capital allocation.

- Experience in managing international operations and cross-border financial matters would be advantageous.

- Strong understanding of Russian accounting, taxation and regulatory requirements; international accounting exposure would be an advantage.

- Demonstrated ability to work closely with the Director / Board / senior leadership on strategic and financial decisions.

- Strong commercial orientation with the ability to balance growth, profitability, liquidity and risk.

- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and leadership capabilities.

Qualification:

- CA / CPA / ACCA / equivalent finance qualification preferred.

- MBA / Finance-related postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
