Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a leading Indian corporate house in the Fertilizers / Pesticides / Agro Chemicals sector. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 20+ years of extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, with strong expertise in IPO processes, fund raising, financial strategy, and corporate finance management.
The CFO will play a critical leadership role in driving the organizations financial planning, compliance, investor relations, capital structuring, and long-term business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall finance and accounting function of the organization.
- Drive financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.
- Manage IPO readiness, listing processes, and coordination with regulatory authorities, bankers, auditors, and legal advisors.
- Lead fundraising initiatives including debt financing, private equity, institutional funding, and strategic investments.
- Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and statutory compliance.
- Oversee treasury management, cash flow planning, taxation, audits, and financial reporting.
- Partner with business leadership to support expansion, acquisitions, and strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, banks, financial institutions, and external
stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, Companies Act, accounting standards, and other applicable
laws.
- Drive automation and process improvements across finance operations.
- Mentor and lead high-performing finance and accounts teams.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) is mandatory.
- 20+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts within the manufacturing industry.
- Prior experience in Fertilizers, Agro Chemicals, Chemicals, Manufacturing, or related sectors preferred.
- Strong exposure to IPO processes, capital markets, and fundraising activities is essential.
- Proven experience in financial leadership roles such as CFO / Finance Director / Head Finance.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, treasury, taxation, compliance, and investor relations.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong communication and decision-making capabilities.
Education: CA (Chartered Accountant) Mandatory
