Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: [Hyderabad, India]
Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the CEO and Board of Directors to define long-term financial strategy and growth roadmap.
- Provide strategic insights on financial trends, risks, and opportunities across domestic and international markets.
- Support business expansion through effective capital allocation, structured financing, and international project cash flow planning.
Financial Management & Controls
- Implement and monitor robust internal controls, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, SOPs, and risk management frameworks aligned with EPC project execution.
Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, private equity, and investors.
- Develop innovative financing models for large-scale EPC projects and international ventures.
FOREX & International Finance
- Develop and implement hedging strategies to optimize FOREX transactions and safeguard margins.
- Ensure smooth execution of international contracts, cross-border payments, and compliance with global financial regulations.
Project Finance & EPC Focus
- Support project bidding and tendering teams with accurate financial models, sensitivity analysis, and cash flow projections.
- Monitor project-level profitability, cash cycles, and contract execution risk.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and develop internal talent to strengthen organizational financial capabilities.
- Drive adoption of digital tools and ERP solutions to enhance reporting and analytics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1520 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a CFO/Deputy CFO role.
- Strong track record in fundraising (equity/debt), investor relations, and financial structuring.
- Proven expertise in FOREX management, treasury, and cross-border financial transactions.
- Prior experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Infrastructure industries is highly desirable.
- Exposure to international projects and global financial reporting standards (IFRS/US GAAP) preferred.
