The Role :

This position calls for a finance leader who can operate seamlessly between execution and strategy. You will take ownership of the organization's financial ecosystem-ensuring control, compliance, and clarity-while also partnering with leadership on growth, investments, and decision-making.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring active involvement across finance operations, stakeholder management, and business performance.

What You Will Own :

Financial Backbone :

- End-to-end ownership of accounting, payables, receivables, and payroll

- Financial close cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual) with accuracy and discipline

- Implementation of strong internal controls and governance frameworks

Business Finance & Insights :

- Budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning

- MIS and performance reporting for leadership and stakeholders

- Tracking profitability across business segments and initiatives

- Financial modelling for growth opportunities and strategic decisions

Compliance & Controls :

- End-to-end oversight of tax, audit, and regulatory compliance

- Management of statutory filings and audit processes

- Ensuring adherence to contractual and financial obligations

Cash, Banking & Funding :

- Ownership of cash flow planning and working capital efficiency

- Banking relationships and financing structures

- Management of credit facilities, guarantees, and debt obligations

Stakeholder Interface :

- Financial reporting to investors and leadership teams

- Support in fundraising, diligence, and financial evaluations

- Cross-functional collaboration to drive financial discipline

- Engagement with external stakeholders including institutions and regulators

Strategic Contribution :

- Partnering with leadership on financial decision-making

- Driving cost optimization and efficiency initiatives

- Evaluating financial risks and safeguarding business interests

- Reviewing commercial agreements and financial exposures

What You Bring :

Experience :

- 15-20 years post-qualification experience

- Proven track record in senior finance leadership roles

- Experience in operationally intensive or project-driven environments preferred

- Exposure to investor interactions, board reporting, and fundraising

Qualification :

- Chartered Accountant (mandatory)

- CMA / CFA (added advantage)

Functional Strength :

- Strong grounding in financial reporting, taxation, and compliance

- Experience with ERP systems and financial modelling

- Understanding of structured finance and banking instruments
