Chief Financial Officer - Education - CA

Executing a leadership role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with one of a large Education set up based in Mumbai.

Role Purpose:

The CFO will be a core strategic partner to the CEO and Board, responsible for driving financial strategy, capital efficiency, and governance, with strong expertise in OpCo-PropCo-ManCo transaction structuring to enable scalable, asset-light and capital-efficient growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead enterprise-wide financial strategy aligned to expansion, profitability, and longterm value creation.

- Design, implement, and manage OpCo-PropCo-ManCo structures, including intercompany agreements, transfer pricing, and cash-flow optimization.

- Drive fund-raising, debt structuring, investor relations, and IPO / pre-IPO readiness.

Key Requirements

- Chartered Accountant (mandatory); MBA (Finance) preferred.

- 15+ years of senior finance leadership experience in multi-entity businesses.

- Proven hands-on experience in OpCo-PropCo-ManCo transaction structuring, preferably in education, infrastructure, retail, or hospitality.

- Strong understanding of leasing models, management contracts, revenue-share arrangements, and inter-company pricing.
