Chief Financial Officer - Consumer/Consumer-Tech

Our client is a fast-growing FMCG and D2C brand with a strong digital-first presence and a rapidly expanding offline footprint. Based in Gurgaon, it has grown from a small startup team to a brand appreciated across both online and offline channels. As it moves toward its IPO journey, the company is hiring for a CFO with major experience in consumer or consumer tech industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

End-to-end finance: FP&A, controllership, treasury, taxation, audits, and compliance.

Strengthen margins: Lead cost optimization across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory.

Investor-facing role: Lead fundraising (equity/debt), manage investor queries, and prepare board decks.

Risk and governance: Implement strong internal controls, statutory compliance, and financial risk frameworks.

Team leadership: Build and mentor finance teams across accounting, FP&A, and compliance.

Requirements:

- CA / MBA (Finance) with 12-18 years' experience in consumer/FMCG/D2C/retail businesses.

- Strong command over product costing, supply chain financials, pricing, and unit economics.

- Experience managing P&L and partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

- Proven track record in fund raising, investor relations, and working with boards.

- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in high-growth environments.
