Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial functions of our consulting firm specializing in public transport and urban transit. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring sustainable growth, and supporting the company's mission to improve urban mobility through innovative consulting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning aligned with company goals.

- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, regulatory compliance, and reporting to stakeholders.

- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the executive team to develop business strategies, identify growth opportunities, and optimize financial performance.

- Funding & Investment: Manage capital structure, investor relations, fundraising activities, and secure funding for projects related to urban and public transport.

- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies; oversee internal controls and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Project Financing & Funding: Support consulting projects by providing financial insights, managing project budgets, and ensuring profitability.

- Operational Efficiency: Drive cost optimization initiatives and improve financial processes for greater efficiency.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate financial performance and strategies to board members, investors, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience (20+ years) in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within consulting, , or transportation sectors.

- Strong understanding of public transport, urban mobility projects, and related regulatory environments.

- Demonstrated ability to develop financial strategies that support sustainable growth.

- Expertise in financial planning, risk management, and project financing.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, CMA/CA is preferred).
