Chief Financial Officer/Chief Accountant

Position: CFO/Chief Accountant

Job Description:

Accounting Leadership:

- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

- Manage general ledger operations, month-end and year-end closing, and internal control systems.

- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxation, and audit processes.

- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.

- Lead and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional growth and performance excellence.

Financial Management & Planning:

- Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and performance reports to support strategic decision-making.

- Evaluate financial performance, cost structures, and cash flow to improve profitability and sustainability.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to guide executive decision-making.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and corporate governance principles.

- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.

Investment Strategy & Portfolio Oversight:

- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities aligned with organizational objectives.

- Conduct financial modeling, valuation assessments, and due diligence for capital projects, acquisitions, and partnerships.

- Manage investment portfolios, monitor market trends, and assess risk-return outcomes.

- Present investment strategies, proposals, and performance updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.

- Monitor financial markets and economic indicators to support informed investment decisions.

Strategic Leadership:

- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial strategy, growth plans, and capital structure.

- Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

- Lead financial transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and digital capability.

- Oversee risk management, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks.
