Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Chemicals Division

Department: Finance & Accounts

Location: Ahmedabad

Reporting To: CEO - Chemicals

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: Minimum 15 Years (preferably in chemical/process manufacturing)

Role Overview:

Responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to the chemicals business through robust financial management, cost control, statutory compliance, and efficient fund utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead accounting, audit, and financial control across plant and HO.

- Manage Direct & Indirect Taxation, including GST, Income Tax, and related compliances.

- Prepare and monitor budgets, cost sheets, and profitability analysis.

- Drive cost optimization and working capital efficiency.

- Oversee project financing, TEV reports, and bank/fund liaison for expansion projects.

- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, and all statutory audits.

- Manage fund flow, treasury operations, LC/BG, and insurance.

- Provide strategic financial insights and MIS to management.

- Build and lead a capable finance team across multiple locations.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong command of taxation, costing, and compliance.

- Experience in chemical/manufacturing finance.

- Proficiency in ERP/SAP, MIS, and financial analytics.

- Leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
