Urgent opening with the Reputed Charitable Trust Hospital for Chief Financial Officer - Uttar Pradesh

Education: Chartered Accountant / CMA / MBA-Finance

Experience: 15-20 years of which minimum 5 years at finance leadership roles

Exposure to foundations, charitable organizations, hospitals or hospital management, and/or rural development-sector engagement is strongly preferred.

Role Purpose

The CFO will own the full finance function for the hospital and its branch network bringing institutional rigour to accounting, compliance, treasury and financial planning, while safeguarding the trust & transparency that donors, partners and the Board rely on.

The CFO is expected to move from a largely traditional finance setup to a scalable, well-controlled financial function capable of supporting the hospital's growth and its evolving governance structure.

Key Responsibilities

1 Own accounting, budgeting, treasury, and financial planning & analysis across the hospital network

2. Ensure statutory and tax compliance Income Tax, GST, and FCRA (including FC-4 filings), 12A/80G renewals and other trust-specific regulatory requirements

3. Manage statutory, internal and donor/grant audits, and act as the primary finance interface for international funding partners

4. Provide financial reporting & analysis to the Board of Trustees, donor agencies & partner foundations

5. Build financial systems, internal controls and MIS to support a multi-location, hub-&-spoke hospital network.

6. Drive cost management & long-term financial sustainability planning, including diversification of funding sources

7. Build, mentor & retain a finance team capable of supporting the hospital's growth

8. Depending on the candidate's experience, may also oversee ancillary functions such as IT systems, procurement/supply chain, general administration, or company secretarial coordination
