Description:


We are looking for a strategic and business-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial function, drive long-term growth strategy, and strengthen corporate governance. The role requires a leader who can build high-performing global teams, drive financial transformation, and partner closely with the CEO and board to scale the business.

Key Responsibilities:


Financial Strategy & Leadership:


- Drive overall financial strategy, planning, and execution aligned with business goals


- Act as a key advisor to the CEO and leadership team on growth, investments, and profitability


- Lead long-term strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting


Business Finance & Growth:


- Partner with business teams to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization


- Enable data-driven decision-making through financial insights and analytics


- Support expansion strategies including new markets, categories, and business models


Corporate Governance & Compliance:


- Strengthen corporate governance frameworks and financial controls


- Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and audit requirements


- Work closely with auditors, board members, and external stakeholders


Financial Operations & Reporting:


- Oversee financial reporting, MIS, and performance tracking


- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and disclosures


- Drive automation and efficiency in finance processes


Fundraising & Investor Management:


- Lead fundraising initiatives, investor relations, and stakeholder communication


- Manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions


- Support capital allocation and strategic investment decisions


- Lead the company's end-to-end IPO process, including DRHP preparation, due diligence, and coordination with bankers, lawyers, and advisors.


Transformation & Team Leadership:


- Build and lead high-performing finance teams across geographies


- Drive finance transformation, systems implementation, and process improvements


- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and innovation


M&A & Strategic Initiatives:


- Evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships


- Lead financial due diligence and deal structuring


- Support board-level strategic initiatives and expansion plans


Required Qualifications:


- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory


- MBA (preferred, especially from Tier-1 institutes)


- 15- 22+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles
